About Us

The Old Town Greenwood Association (OTGA) is an organization designed to foster, develop and promote the Old Town Greenwood, Indiana Area.  Since 1986 OTGA has helped organize numerous events and raise funds to better the area.  OTGA purchased the Christmas wreaths that are hung from the Old Town Greenwood light poles every Christmas season.  The OTGA organizes an all volunteer group for the annual Greenwood-A-Glow celebration.  OTGA also sponsors the street fair during the Greenwood Freedom Festival.

Greenwood-A-Glow

The OTGA sponsors the annual Greenwood-a-Glow event. Events include the lighting of the Christmas Tree at Madison and Main with entertainment provided by local church and school choirs. Santa makes an appearance at the tree and then proceeds to the library for a chat with all of the children. While at the library everyone has an opportunity to take a ride in a horse drawn carriage for a modest charge. Pictures with Santa are also available at a very low cost. Most of the monetary underwriting of this event is provided by OTGA.
